Milwaukee Bucks playoff goals No. 2: Feed Bryn Forbes

Forbes is the biggest X-factor in the rest of the playoffs for the Bucks. He came over from the San Antonio Spurs in the offseason and shot the ball at 45.2 percent from beyond the arc. While he only averaged 10.0 points per game, he was a really good floor spacer for the Bucks.

If the Bucks have Forbes going then that is one less defender that can cheat off their assignment to help out stopping Antentokounmpo. It is no coincidence that the Bucks are firing when Forbes is at his most damaging.

In the first game of the series, Forbes did not hit any of his attempts from deep. Forbes had five points, and the Bucks only ended up winning by two points. For the rest of the season, Forbes has been damaging. He has hit three or more 3-point attempts in all three games.

The lowest winning margin for the Bucks after the first game was 17 points. The largest winning margin was 34 points, which was helped by Forbes’ shooting. He is averaging 15.0 points per game this series which is 50 percent higher output than his regular season.  The Bucks are reaping the rewards.
