Milwaukee Bucks: 3 crucial goals for their playoff run
The Milwaukee Bucks have been solid all season. They managed to finish with the third seed in the Eastern Conference. They were behind the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets which is a change for them, they have had the best record in the East each of the last two seasons.
Unfortunately, this has not helped them advance to the finals in either season. They took the Toronto Raptors to six games in the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2019 season. They were then knocked out by the Miami Heat in the bubble last season on their way to their fairytale Finals run.
This season the Bucks got to exact their revenge on the Heat, sweeping them in the first round of these playoffs. They are a different animal now than they were a season ago, given that they have Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, and Bryn Forbes who have transformed the Bucks offense.
The Milwaukee Bucks almost derailed their season prior to it starting
The Bucks tried to do a sign and trade with the Sacramento Kings which would have landed them Bogdan Bogdanovic. The problem was that the deal was announced prior to the Kings being allowed to sign their player. It meant that the Bucks lost him to the Atlanta Hawks who he signed with during free agency.
They did manage to land Jrue Holiday amongst others via trade, moving on from Eric Bledsoe. While Bledsoe was a good regular season player, he was not the same in the playoffs. The Bucks are now primed to take on the Brooklyn Nets in their second-round series.
