August 2, 2020, the beginning of the end for the Orlando Magic. Games were back in full swing following the halt that was put on the sports world because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The NBA had re-launched its season, nestled safely away from the rest of the world in the Orlando bubble.

The Magic were taking on the Sacramento Kings in a game where both teams were fighting to stay in the playoff picture. Tragedy struck for the Magic as Jonathan Isaac collapsed on the floor grasping at his knee in agony. The remainder of Isaac’s season, and the 2020-21 season that was to come, was over.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is set to return from injury in 2021. Here are three goals for him this season.

When Isaac last saw the floor, Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vučević were still his teammates. When J.I. returns, he’ll be welcomed by Markelle Fultz, R.J. Hampton and Chuma Okeke, which will be quite a shock.

With how iffy the Eastern Conference has been over the years, this Magic team has enough talent to potentially secure the seventh or eighth seed in next year’s playoffs. That’s of course all dependent on Jonathan Isaac. Isaac, even though he’s only spent 4 seasons in the NBA, only having played 3 of which, is one of the longest-tenured players on the Magic’s roster.

Since he’ll, hopefully, be back for when the season rolls around, here is a sort of wishlist for what he’ll hopefully accomplish in 2021.
