Young superstars ready for the NBA playoffs: Air BNB

LaMelo Ball, and to a lesser extent Miles Bridges, has turned into must watch television when the roster is intact around him. They have developed a lob chemistry that turned Bridges into one of the most effective bench scorers in the league prior to Ball’s injury. Ball is also the most transcendent star to play for the Charlotte Hornets since they re-entered the league as the Bobcats.

Ball is made for the spotlight. He was foisted into it back in high school when his brother was at UCLA and has never looked back. Ball was drafted third overall and has turned the Hornets into a different franchise. He throws passes to find his teammates in the best place to succeed and Bridges has been the greatest benefactor of that.

Air BNB was a nickname for the dup midway through the season that the fanbase adopted and it is fitting. The aerial assault on the rim that Bridges subject’s opponents to is astounding and no one in the league throws a lob quite like LaMelo Ball. The league was almost granted the chance to watch him play in the playoffs in his first season but the team faltered down the stretch due to injuries to Ball and Gordon Hayward. With good health and internal development Ball will put a show on in the postseason next year.
