Greatest NBA Player to wear each jersey number: 95, De’Andre Bembry

DeAndre’ Bembry wears the number 95 to honor his late brother, who was shot and killed just two weeks before the Atlanta Hawks drafted him in 2016. Bembry played his first four seasons with the Hawks before signing with the Toronto Raptors as a free agent this past offseason.

He had a solid collegiate career, averaging over 17 points and 7 rebounds per game in his final two seasons at Saint Joseph’s. While he is a serviceable defender and good energy guy off the bench, injuries have limited his impact and development in the NBA.

Honorable Mention: Juan Toscano Anderson

Greatest NBA Player to wear each jersey number: 94, Evan Fournier

Evan Fournier is the only player in league history to wear the number 94. He played his first two seasons in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets wearing number 94 before switching to 10 after being traded to the Orlando Magic. Following a mid-season trade to the Boston Celtics, Fournier has switched back to his original number

His preferred jersey number is 10 because Mike Bibby and the Sacramento Kings of the early 2000s first got him interested in basketball. Still, the number was taken already when he got to Denver, and the Celtics retired the number honor of Jojo White.

In Denver, he had a very minimal role, and playing time was pretty scarce, but after thriving with the Magic, Boston brought in Fournier to provide an offensive punch off the bench. Injuries and Covid-19 have limited him to just 16 games with the Celtics, but he’s a lethal scoring threat and a solid playmaker for his position when healthy.

In his most recent game for the Celtics (as of the time of this writing), he scored 17 points and dished out six assists while shooting four for dive from three, in just 22 minutes of action.
