The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming up on their 33rd season in the NBA and the future of the franchise is unknown. The team has a couple of good players but they just can’t manage to work together and win games. Luckily for the players, their individual greatness can be sealed in the history books.

It’s pretty safe to say that unless there’s a drastic move in free agency or the NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves won’t be competing for an NBA championship in 2021. While they may not be competing for banners that will fly forever, individual players may be competing for individual franchise records which could remain in the record books for years to come.

With the Minnesota Timberwolves roster loaded with young talent, here are some records that could be broken by the young wolves.

The Minnesota Timberwolves franchise, which is one of the newer teams in the NBA, hasn’t really had their moment yet. They’ve had big-name players such as Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett and potential future Hall of Famer Kevin Love and they have their marks on the history books. What about these new guys? What records could we see broken by this new generation?

While there are several records that may seem unbreakable, there are a few that are theoretically within reach. The future is now and it’s time for them to create some history.
