13. Golden State Warriors

Last Week: Beat Utah Jazz 119-116, Beat Phoenix Suns 122-116, Beat New Orleans Pelicans 125-122, Beat Memphis Grizzlies 113-101

Over/Under Projection; Guess/Result: 39; Under; Wrong

The Golden State Warriors are about to show the world one of the most intimidating scenarios imaginable in sports: Stephen Curry in a single-elimination game. Curry has been on one of the hottest streaks in recent league history. Since March 1 he is averaging 34.9 points, 5.6 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game and shooting splits of .486/.428/.897. If the Warriors were higher up in the standings Curry would have a real argument for MVP.

For now, he will just have to accept the second scoring title of his career and reminding everyone who forgot from a season ago just how good the former two-time MVP was. The rest of the team is even starting to play better, giving the Warriors a chance in any first-round series they play in because chances are they are getting into the first round of the playoffs.

Jordan Poole has taken a major leap in his second season. Draymond Green may not be much of a scorer, but he runs the team expertly. Kevon Looney is playing better and Andrew Wiggins is playing the best basketball of his career when it is finally starting to matter. Get your popcorn ready and get ready for the play-in game.
