Boston Celtics goal No. 3 going into the NBA playoffs: Keep Kemba Walker rolling

When Walker has been able to get on the court this season he has been really solid. He is averaging 19.3 points, 4.9 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 31.8 minutes per game. These are really good numbers considering he is shooting the ball at 42.0 percent from the floor, 36.0 percent from deep, and 89.9 percent from the line.

Since he returned from his latest injury, Walker has been sensational in the past three games. He Had 32 points and four assists in the win against the Orlando Magic. He then followed that up with 33 points in the loss to the Chicago Bulls.

In the third game since his return, Walker had 18 points and six assists in the loss to the Miami Heat. While he is not going to be able to replace all of what Brown does on the court, this is helpful production to the team.

If the Celtics can keep Walker rolling, combined with the incredible production of Tatum at the moment then this will make it easier for some of the role players to step up their production. The Celtics are a playoff hardened team with a coach who has led them through some tough times. It will be interesting to see how he guides them through this little hiccup.
