The Memphis Grizzlies are going to be in another play-in situation in the NBA. Last season they took on the Portland Trail Blazers and lost, which is a result they do not want to repeat this season. They are in the ninth seed meaning that they would host the San Antonio Spurs if the season was to end today.

If they win against the Spurs they will then face either the Golden State Warriors or the Los Angeles Lakers if the standings stay as they are. Neither of these teams will be easy to beat, however, if the Grizzlies are to advance in the playoffs they are going to meet the best teams in the Western Conference. They will have to start beating quality teams early.

What may help the Grizzlies in this situation is that they have no long-term injuries, with only Grayson Allen and Sean McDermott out with niggly issues. Considering they have spent most of the season without Jaren Jackson Jr., this is a tremendous situation to be in going into the playoffs.

The Memphis Grizzlies have found themselves in another play-in battle. Here are three goals for them to help them advance

The Grizzlies only have a handful of players with five completed seasons to their names. Jonas Valanciunas, Kyle Anderson, Tyus Jones, and Justise Winslow are these players but it is hard to put Winslow in that category, given the number of injuries he has suffered.

They rely on their second-year point guard Ja Morant, rookie Desmond Bane, and now that he is back, third-year man Jackson. This is one of the reasons that they are down the bottom of the playoff contenders. Getting experience into these players is crucial for the Grizzlies moving forward.

With all that in mind, let’s take a look at three goals for the Memphis Grizzlies moving into the playoffs.
