Golden State Warriors: 3 goals for the final stretch of the NBA season
Golden State Warriors goal No. 2: Take care of the ball

Now that Thompson is not on the court, the Warriors are just as susceptible to turnovers hurting them as much as any other team in the league. They turn the ball over 15.1 times per game which is 26th in the league
The Warriors give up 17.7 points off turnovers which is 25th in the NBA. In order for them to progress into the postseason, they need to clear this up. The top teams in the NBA love getting out in transition, either breaking the Warriors’ momentum or continuing their own.
The two greatest offenders on the Warriors squad are Curry and Green who combine for 6.3 per game. This is understandable as they are the primary ballhandlers for the club. They also are the players who push the envelope the most. This is part of what makes them great, the ability to produce some of the most amazing plays. Unfortunately, it can go the other way as well.
