28. OKC Thunder

Lost to Phoenix Suns 123-120, Lost to Sacramento Kings 103-99, Lost to 118-97 Golden State Warriors, Lost to Golden State Warriors 136-97

This Week: 5/9 at Sacramento Kings, 5/11 at Sacramento Kings, 5/14 vs. Utah Jazz, 5/16 vs. LA Clippers

Since the trade deadline, the OKC Thunder have been the worst team in the league. Having won just two out of their last 24 games, the Thunder have committed to the tank like few have ever seen. While other teams are doing so with random players who may not be a part of the future, the Thunder have a collection of young talent worth watching from night to night to see who may be a part of the future.

In true Thunder fashion, this week another young player started to set himself apart. Ty Jerome was effective in a limited role, averaging 15.3 points and 4.0 assists in just 21.5 minutes per game. His efficiency was impressive, shooting 48.5 percent from the field and a blazing 57.1 percent from distance. Jerome feels like the kind of player who may struggle to fit in with the Thunder going forward due to the glut of wings on the roster.

The Thunder are more of a G-League team than anything else right now, and that makes the last week of the season understandably meaningless. They will be keeping an eye on the matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons, as the winner of the game will move into a tie with the Thunder in the win’s column.
