Now that the Chicago Bulls have slim chances of making the NBA playoffs directly, they need to start focusing on next season. They could theoretically still make the play-in tournament but that is going to take a miracle due to the Washington Wizards’ late-season push.

They made moves at the deadline which were designed to move them up the standings. They sent the expiring contract of Otto Porter along with Wendell Carter Jr. to the Orlando Magic and received Al-Farouq Aminu and Nikola Vucevic in return.

They were also involved in the three-team deal where they sent Daniel Gafford and Chandler Hutchinson to the Washington Wizards, as well as sending Luke Kornet to the Boston Celtics. In return, they received Javont Green, Daniel Theis, and Troy Brown jr.

The Chicago Bulls have NBA playoff chances of slim to none. Here are three goals down the stretch for the franchise to salvage the season.

The Bulls are not far away from having a competitive team. They are one or two pieces away. Their superstar is Zach LaVine who is going to develop chemistry with Vucevic. These two are the pillars that are going to be the foundations of the franchise.

Patrick Williams has started every game that he has played in this season and shows that he has the potential to grow into a special player. Thaddeus Young is the veteran presence on the team who is going to help the younger players develop.

Coby White and Tomas Satoransky are an intriguing one-two punch at the point guard spot who are also developing into consistent players who can help take the pressure off LaVine and Vucevic. With all of this in mind, let’ take a look at three goals for the Chicago Bulls down the stretch.
