3. Crash the boards as a team

The Raptors have been bad all year on the glass. They collect 9.2 offensive rebounds per game which is only good for 24th in the league. The problem is that this is the best position they hold in the league for rebounding.

They collect 32.3 defensive rebounds per game, good for only 28th in the league. Unfortunately for the Raptors, this gives them only 41.5 rebounds per game and this is the second-worst number in the league. It is very hard to win games if you are being dominated on the glass.

The Raptors have tried to fix this issue by signing Khem Birch who has helped to the tune of 7.3 rebounds per game. The Raptors have won four of his ten games which shows that rebounding is still a tremendously important skill to have.

Pascal Siakam is doing all that he can for the franchise and is collecting 7.1 rebounds per game. Boucher is next with 6.7 per game. What the Raptors need to do is to crash the boards and make sure that they end the defensive possession. Without this, the opposition can get easy second-chance points which put scoreboard pressure on the Raptors all game.
