The Boston Celtics season, by many accounts, has been disappointing with injuries, bad losses, and broken high hopes. However, in April, everything seemed to change. Players were once again healthy, the Celtics started closing out close games and they were living up to expectations as they beat contender after contender.

The Boston Celtics struggled early this season but they began to win games. These are three reasons why the Boston Celtics are winning again

Not many fans expected the Celtics to sit around .500 this season, but they have struggled to find any rhythm. Their young players have not played up to expectations and their bench has looked like a disaster.

At the same time, Jayson Tatum has not made another leap from last season people were looking for and Kemba Walker has struggled to find himself after coming back from a knee injury. Based on their play, it would have been incredible if the pre-April Celtics made it out of the second round.

But between April 2 and April 22, the Celtics went 9-2, including seven games against playoff teams with a blank injury report for the first time. Players quickly took leaps, others learned how to adjust their role, and every player seemed to bring something to each Celtics victory.
