As the NBA heads towards a postseason that will thankfully feature fans in a whole host of arenas, the one thing we can say about this year with certainty is that it has been eventful. At this late stage, we still aren’t sure who the regular season MVP should be, while most superstars have missed some time because of injury.

As a result of this, and if you are not weary from all of the basketball that has taken place in such a short space of time going back to the bubble in Florida last year, there is probably at least one reason to tune in and watch every single team in the NBA on any given night.

Orlando Magic? They’re bad right now, but the makings of a competitive young outfit are there if you look hard enough. Minnesota Timberwolves? They have a pair of All-Star level players, as well as Anthony Edwards. Not to mention new owners. The Washington Wizards? Russell Westbrook is on a tear at the moment, and alongside Bradley Beal will likely feature in the playoffs.

There’s a reason to pay attention to every NBA team, but right now three organizations stand above the rest in terms of intrigue.

Before diving into who these three franchises are, we must first give an honorable mention to the New York Knicks. Heading into this season, it was thought that they had some decent young players, as well as a revamped front office, that could lead to some future success. Instead, Julius Randle turned into the Most Improved Player frontrunner, and the Knicks were suddenly, good?

It goes far beyond Randle of course, but to have a competitive Knicks organization that will make the playoffs is great for the league, and it has had casual fans buzzing too. Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin and RJ Barrett form an exciting future, and even Derrick Rose has found himself on this roster. They just miss out, but the following three teams are straight fascinating on a nightly basis.
