The Chicago Bulls may have been the overall winners of the trade deadline over any other team in the league. While they still sit as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference, the Bulls have a strong enough roster to make a second-half comeback and at least make a play-in game for the postseason.

There were two trades that the Bulls made near the deadline. The first being a three-team trade with the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards. In this trade, the Bulls received Daniel Theis, Javonte Green, and Troy Brown Jr.

The second trade was with the Orlando Magic. The Bulls received Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu and gave up Wendall Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr., and two future first-round picks. In both of these trades, the Bulls gave up some of their youth in return for players that can propel them to win now.

The Chicago Bulls had an amazing trade deadline that may propel them into playoff contention. While there were many winners from the deadline, there were also some losers.

There are two ways that fans are taking this. Some are upset that they are moving on from young players with potential like Carter and draft capital like the two first-round picks that it took to acquire Vucevic.

However, others believe that it was well worth it. The Bulls before the deadline were a team with a plethora of young talent that for the most part has never blossomed. These trades, it gives the traded players a change of scenery that they may need to reach their full potential.

In terms of the organization, it allows them to exchange players who may never reach their peak with the team for players who have already established themselves in the league.

Despite this being a great trade deadline for the Bulls, not everyone can come out a winner.
