NBA Rumors: Players most likely to be traded this offseason
By Corey Rausch
The trade deadline has come and gone and now teams mostly know what their roster will look like for the rest of the 2020-2021 NBA season. The deadline ended up being more active than many had predicted but still there were plenty of big names left wondering where they will end up over the long haul.
Just because trade season has paused in reality does not mean fans stop thinking about it. For some, the team-building aspect has risen to be the biggest attraction about the NBA, even over the games. Even If that is not the case for everyone it is never too early to start planning the next moves a team makes. Many font offices plan years in advance so trying to guess what the next moves to be will help inform those decisions.
Going into the summer of 2021, here are five NBA players likely to be traded with more teams willing to give up future assets.
Given the dearth of talent on the free-agent market this summer trades will be the best way to add to their contender status. Lucky for teams looking to swing for the fences there will be no shortage of star-level talent available. This list will look at four former All-Stars who could be due for a change of scenery as well as a young prospect who does not seem destined to be with his current team for long.
We will get started with the young player as he is the one on this list that would need to be a sign-and-trade.
