The LA Clippers could undoubtedly use a spark right now after losing five of their last eight games. With a 27-16 record, the Clippers sit at fourth place in the Western Conference, but they have been inconsistent as ever this season.

This team is supposed to be at the forefront of title contention, but they have struggled to show that they can rebound from an abysmal postseason run last year. Desperately needing a boost to get the wheels turning before the playoffs begin, perhaps the Clippers could look to bring in some help before the NBA trade deadline.

The LA Clippers would be wise to make a move before the NBA’s March 25 trade deadline with a handful of rumored targets in mind.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, the Clippers are “not so quietly shopping for point guard help,” and they have three specific targets in mind in the coming days.

LA’s need for point guard help was evident in their playoff debacle, and it seemed clear that they would prioritize adding one this offseason. However, they surprisingly elected to stand pat with their current rotation, spending the offseason bringing in players like Serge Ibaka and Luke Kennard.

With the same issues from last season due to their lack of a point guard carrying over to this year, it appears they are once again looking for a floor general. Luckily for them, there are several targets currently on the market that could very well be on the move and LA could potentially be in the running to land one of them. With that being said, here is whether the Clippers should pass on or pursue three rumored trade targets at the point guard position.
