Question: What will Caris LeVert bring to the table?

Throughout the season, concerns of health have hung over the Indiana Pacers. This was the case even before trading for Caris LeVert, who made his debut for the Pacers on Saturday. Getting back any of their missing players would be considered a boon for the team and the nature of LeVert’s absence makes it all the better.

The question remains what he will be able to bring to the court this season in particular. There is no doubting LeVert’s ability. Prior to the trade, he was off to a strong start to the season for the star-studded Brooklyn Nets, highlighted by a 43-point outing against the Memphis Grizzlies. Coming back from surgery to remove a cancerous tumor makes for one of the best stories of the season.

So what will LeVert bring to the team? For one thing, he brings an offensive punch that the Pacers have been lacking since T.J. Warren went down with a foot injury in December. He is a scoring threat who can play off of Malcolm Brogdon, adding some balance to the starting lineup.

The Pacers have struggled this season because they have been missing two of their starters for an extended period of time. Adding LeVert back is the first step towards the Pacers being fully back.
