The Golden State Warriors are still trying to find their footing coming out of the NBA All-Star break this season. With a 19-19 record just beyond the midway point, the Warriors are currently out of the playoff picture, sitting at ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

Owning the highest payroll in the association, it is clear that Golden State will tackle the second half of the season with a playoff berth in mind, and it will be quite an uphill battle for them to get there. Perhaps bringing in some help from the outside via the trade market could be their best bet to help them get back into the postseason.

The Golden State Warriors have been linked to several household names in trade rumors with the NBA trade deadline approaching on March 25.

Eyeing the playoffs, Warriors general manager Bob Myers understands that this team could stand to make some upgrades via the trade market. Recently appearing on 95.7 The Game’s “Steiny, Guru & Dibs show,” Myers ensured that the team would do their due diligence around the league before the deadline. Via Drew Shiller of NBC Sports:

"“We’ll be aggressive. We’ll look around. There were years where we had the best record and were pretty quiet at the trade deadline. We didn’t really do much or make many calls. I think we’ll be more open in making calls and listening to calls than we’ve been.”"

That mindset is certainly intriguing for Golden State, particularly because of the handful of trade targets they have been linked to leading up to this point. With that in mind, here is whether the Warriors should pass on or pursue three rumored trade targets.
