Priority number one this past off-season was convincing Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign a super-max extension, which would keep him with the team long-term. That, combined with the acquisition of point guard Jrue Holiday, led Bucks fans to believe that 2021 would be the year they finally got over the hump and hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy.
