Fresh off of a historical playoff run to the Western Conference Finals last season, the Denver Nuggets have been hit or miss trying to put together a strong follow-up this year.

Led by MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets currently sit at sixth place in the Western Conference standings with a 21-15 record through the midway point of the season. After a slow start to the year, this team has slowly started to find their footing as they put the pieces together, but there is still much work to be done.

If the Nuggets will make a strong push in the second half to make a leap in the standings and shoot for another run at the NBA Finals, they might look to bring in some reinforcements before the trade deadline. With the deadline slated for March 25, the current construction of Denver’s roster could go through a retooling before then.

The Denver Nuggets have been linked to a handful of intriguing candidates with the NBA trade deadline approaching later this month.

While most of the trade discussion out west has focused primarily on both Los Angeles teams, Denver has quietly snuck into the conversation a few weeks before the deadline. The Nuggets continue to be a recurring name in trade rumors, and this team could potentially be working behind the scenes to make a big splash before March 25’s NBA trade deadline.

With a solid stash of draft capital and players that could be trade chips at their disposal, watch for the Nuggets to potentially be busy making moves. With that being said, here is whether they should pass on or pursue three trade targets they have already been connected to in the rumor mill.
