Prediction No. 10: Kevin Love ends up on a contender

You just have to feel bad for Kevin Love at this point. Once a member of a very exciting trio has now been semi-forgotten. LeBron James has left. Kyrie Irving has changed two teams since then. Even the role players have abandoned this ship.

Somehow, Kevin Love has been left behind despite having too much talent to be on a rebuilding team. Once a solid member of the All-NBA teams, it’s a shame that no one is talking about him just three years after his last All-Star nod.

Fortunately for him, this year’s trade deadline might be kind enough to grant him a move away from Cleveland to a team when he can contribute as a key scoring option. He might not be at the level he once was, but can still start on any team around the league.

The list of teams that could benefit from Love’s presence is not short in any way. You’ve got the Phoenix Suns who are in desperate need of a power forward, as well as the Golden State Warriors who have always been the ideal team for Love, despite their feud in the NBA Finals.

One cannot, however, cross the Los Angeles Lakers off this list too soon. Love and James have previously worked together in the past, resulting in Cleveland’s first and only NBA championship. LeBron’s elite passing ability will only work wonders with Love’s shooting prowess.
