2021 NBA Trade Deadline: 10 trades we need to see
Trade No. 1: Bradley Beal to the Denver Nuggets
It’s a well-known fact now that Bradley Beal desperately needs some help. By leading the league at 32.9 points per game it is clear that he is trying his best to do his part as a team leader.
Unfortunately, the Washington Wizards aren’t looking all that willing to provide him with any help whatsoever. Excruciatingly overpaying Davis Bertans and trading for a stat-padding Russell Westbrook certainly did not do them any favors.
As a result, Bradley Beal might look for help elsewhere. If the Wizards were to test the trad waters, they’d soon realize that the Denver Nuggets might be the best option for both him and the Wizards as a whole.
With the adequate young pieces to help them kickstart a rebuild, as well as the salaries to match the trade, most teams could only wish to be in Denver’s position. The Nuggets are literally one step away from competing and Beal could be that exact step towards the right direction.
By joining the Denver Nuggets, Beal would create a superstar trio with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Given the respective ages of this elite company, the Beal-led Nuggets could rule the Western Conference for years to come.
