Last Week: Beat Sacramento Kings 128-115, Beat Minnesota Timberwolves 139-112, Beat New Orleans Pelicans 129-125

This Week: 2/28 vs. LA Clippers, 3/2 vs. Denver Nuggets, 3/4 at Memphis Grizzlies

It would seem that the demise of the Milwaukee Bucks was greatly exaggerated. Since the #FireBud movement took hold last weekend, the Bucks have built a solid win streak, albeit against some of the lower tier teams in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was absolutely dominant over the last week, averaging 37.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. He has re-entered the MVP conversation in dramatic fashion. The better development was the explosion of Khris Middleton.

Middleton hit a cold patch at the worst time possible for him individually, possibly costing himself an All-Star selection based solely on his recent lull. The lull was over this week as Middleton averaged 26.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game on shooting splits of .508/.533/1.00. If something did not short-circuit for a couple weeks (i.e. Jrue Holiday being out of the lineup) Middleton would have an All-Star lock.

The role players played quite well this week as well. Bryn Forbes is thriving in his role with the team. Bobby Portis even started at times this week and did not miss a beat. Donte DiVincenzo does all of the little things for the team. Once Holiday is back the Bucks should continue to look like a contender even more.
