Last Week: Beat Oklahoma City Thunder 108-94, Beat Toronto Raptors 116-108, Beat Utah Jazz 124-116
This Week: 2/28 vs. Atlanta Hawks, 3/2 vs. Atlanta Hawks, 3/4 at New Orleans Pelicans
The Miami Heat have now won five in a row and nine of their last 12 games. The question of being back gets thrown around a lot but often it boils down to when you know, you know. It is clear that we know that the Miami Heat are indeed back.
Many will make a big deal that Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo were not named All-Stars over the last week but that is not something the Heat care about. They care that they are getting increasingly closer to .500. The Heat are interested in the fact that they are finally almost back to fully healthy and can compete on a night in and night out basis.
The wins against the Utah Jazz was the latest statement. Jimmy Butler looked like the player who helped drag the Heat to two victories in the NBA Finals, dropping 33 points on one of the best defenses in the league. Goran Dragic had 26 points off the bench and is continuing to prove just how important he is to this team. Even if Adebayo and Butler are the stars, Dragic is the driving force for the Miami Heat. Now they just await the return of Avery Bradley and Tyler Herro.
