Previous: 22nd. New York Knicks. 18. team. 27. . 17-17

Last Week: Beat Minnesota Timberwolves 103-99, Lost to Golden State Warriors 114-106, Beat Sacramento Kings 140-121, Beat Indiana Pacers 110-107

This Week:  2/28 at Detroit Pistons, 3/2 at San Antonio Spurs, 3/4 vs. Detroit Pistons

The New York Knicks may actually be a good team. If you expected the team to falter and fade away after an early-season surge, it would seem you were sadly mistaken. After a three-win week, the Knicks are back to .500 and have something else to celebrate.

Julius Randle made his first All-Star Game and could not be more deserving. Randle is the New York Knicks right now. Over the last week, he averaged 24.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He is fulfilling the unlimited potential that saw him get drafted seventh overall seven years ago.

Randle is living proof that just because you do not meet expectations in your first (or even third) stop, does not mean it is always time to give up. Julius Randle has put in the work and now that he is playing on a team that is built around him he, and the team, are thriving.

It was not just about Randle this week. Derrick Rose is starting to supplant Elfrid Payton in the starting lineup. RJ Barrett made 61.5 percent of his 3-point attempts. The Knicks are not going away and it has been special.
