team. 100. . 15-17. Previous: 16th. Indiana Pacers. 20

Last Week: 2/22 vs. San Antonio Spurs (POSTPONED), Lost to Golden State Warriors 111-107, Lost to Boston Celtics 118-112, Lost to New York Knicks 110-107

This Week: 3/1 at Philadelphia 76er, 3/3 at Cleveland Cavaliers, 3/4 vs. Denver Nuggets

If fans of the Indiana Pacers hoped that having a game postponed gave the team a slight break to right the ship, then this week was definitely a disappointment. The Pacers dropped all three games they played this week and are continuing to spiral.

The loss against the New York Knicks could almost be excused due to the absence of Malcolm Brogdon in addition to the continued sidelining of T.J. Warren and Caris LeVert. Unfortunately, no losses can really be set aside when you have lost seven of the last 10 games you have played.

The lone bright spot was the naming of Domantas Sabonis as an All-Star injury replacement for Kevin Durant. Through the first quarter of the season, Sabonis looked like a complete lock for the event. Even as his production has waned to an extent (having the team around him struggle has increased the attention defenses can give to him) he has still been quite productive.

Over this week, Sabonis averaged 20.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. He does everything for the Pacers and has enough defensives talent around him to cover up deficiencies. But as the injuries pile up the team struggles on both ends have become something that even Sabonis cannot overcome. Overall, the Indiana Pacers are just not a good team right now.
