3. George Hill

George Hill is a solid shooter and excellent veteran presence for any team this season. He’s currently languishing with the OKC Thunder, who will try to get the most assets out of him for their rebuild.

Hill’s best 3-point shooting effort actually came a year ago with the Milwaukee Bucks. The point guard hit 46 percent of his threes coming off the bench. Over his career, he’s a 38.4 percent shooter from three, though his volume isn’t humongous (3.2 attempts per game over his career).

Hill is a full-time starter in Oklahoma City and is proving he can still play major minutes at 34 years old. He’s averaging 11.8 points per game and has a shooting split of .508/.386/.840, all solid for his contribution level.

There is a health concern with Hill. He suffered a right thumb injury and isn’t expected to be reevaluated until the beginning of March. That likely won’t scare too many teams away.

The Philadelphia 76ers would be one good fit for Hill. They could also use solid shooters to surround Ben Simmons with, as he’s primarily a facilitator.

The Boston Celtics are another interesting fit. Between Marcus Smart’s current injury and Kemba Walker’s constant injury concerns, there’s room for some stability in that backcourt.
