NBA logo candidate No. 1: Kobe Bryant

As Kyrie Irving so eloquently put it, WE NEED KOBE BRYANT ON THE NBA LOGO.

The importance of Kobe Bryant cannot be easily put into words. He basically is the majority of the reason why people aged 20-40 played and watched basketball during their childhood. He influenced us all and his passion is really missed on an NBA court.

From his legendary jersey-pulling moments, all the way to the fadeaways that he used to hit on a nightly basis, Kobe gifted us with so many memories to choose from. One that holds a special place in our hearts is his fabled celebrations after winning his 5th NBA Championship in 2010.

While all the aforementioned legends are worthy successors of Mr. West’s reign, it’s only fair that the potential update of the NBA’s logo includes the great Black Mamba.

Think about it. Whose name do you summon when you wish to throw a round object into the trash can? It’s not LeBron, it’s not Michael and it certainly isn’t Jerry. This would be the perfect way to perpetuate Kobe’s dynasty forever.
