With a 20-12 record, the Brooklyn Nets currently occupy the second seed in the Eastern Conference, dominating opposing teams on a nightly basis. This comes despite the fact that the Nets have been without Kevin Durant for most of this month.

The former league MVP has played in just one game since February 5th due to the league’s health and safety protocols and a nagging hamstring issue. The good thing about the Nets is that they have two other superstars that have held down the fort with Durant sidelined in James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

Even without Durant out of the lineup, the Nets have won four consecutive games, including wins over two Western Conference powerhouses in the Los Angeles Lakers (albeit no Anthony Davis) and the LA Clippers. This team has been on a roll lately, and they might not be done improving the roster just yet.

The Brooklyn Nets could get even stronger if they make some moves on the trade market ahead of the NBA’s March 25th trade deadline.

Brooklyn emptied their asset cabinet last month to bring in former league MVP James Harden to form the NBA’s most lethal trio, and the results have spoken for themselves. However, that leaves them with little to work with as they survey the trade market to strengthen this roster further.

Still, that shortness of assets has not stopped the team from working their way into a slew of trade rumors within the past month. With their name floating around, the Nets could have a trick or two up their sleeve within the next month as trade season heats up in the NBA.

With that being said, here is whether the Brooklyn Nets should pass on or pursue three rumored trade targets before March 25th.
