Until further notice, the 10 slot on our MVP Race Player Rankings will be known as the Bradley Beal. Largely kept in the mix because he leads the league in scoring, Beal has reprised his ranking from a week ago for the Washington Wizards.
There really isn’t a likely case for Beal to move up much in these rankings. Scoring would appear to be the only way, but what really changes if he averaged 45 points over the course of a week? The Wizards seem to simply be what they are, and that’s going to hamper his case.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been putting up spectacular, earth-shattering numbers over the past week. And yet his Milwaukee Bucks went 0-4 over this same span. The Bucks are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have dropped to third in the Eastern Conference.
Much of this can be attributed to trying new things and building versatility in the playoffs, so it may end up being a good thing in the end when the games really matter. But alas, in these power rankings, we’re going to hold four-game losing streaks against you, no matter how ridiculous your stats are.
