Denver Nuggets – Sell

In what may be the hottest take of the entire list, the Michael Porter, Jr. trade needs to happen. He is just not on the same page with his teammates and even Nikola Jokic is starting to get visibly frustrated with the second year potential All-Star. The budding chemistry problem combined with his history of health issues makes a potential trade suddenly more likely.

There will be suitors for Porter making the timing of a trade even more promising. Over the years the best return for young players of his caliber has come when a trade is unexpected so making the most of his value is a sensible choice.

Listen, Porter has the potential to be an All-Star. He has shown flashes of taking over offensively but he seems unaware that he is not the best player on the floor. Sometimes this is a good thing, giving a player the confidence to take big shots and come through in the clutch for their team when they are left open. But when Porter decides to dribble endlessly instead of giving the ball back to Jokic to run the offense as it should be you find yourself on a team that thought they could be challenging for the number one seed in the conference floating around .500.
