Oklahoma City Thunder – Sell

In case you have missed the way things have been going for the Oklahoma City Thunder since the end of last season swapping veterans for future draft compensation. Before his injury, George Hill was the most likely trade target for other teams. He is a proven bench contributor over the years and is only partially guaranteed next season.

That being said there are still real options to consider for trades. The two most potentially impactful would be Trevor Ariza and Al Horford. Horford may be tougher to move considering He still has two years left on his massive contract but he has bounced back this season and would be a welcome addition to a team in desperate need of defense and size.

If the Brooklyn Nets decided to go all-in even more and they could convince Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving that a long-distance friendship with Deandre Jordan would work better they could combine his contract with the expiring Spencer Dinwiddie and one of the minimum contracts to get the deal done.

Outside of a blockbuster Ariza may be able to net a lower-tier second-round pick. He is on a partially guaranteed contract for the rest of the season. Ariza has been apart from the team this season, awaiting a new situation. He will find one before the trade deadline.
