New York Knicks: 5 teams that need a Julius Randle trade
Possible destination No. 1: Minnesota Timberwolves
Behold, the absolute best spot that Julius Randle could end up in, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Wolves are in desperate need of a power forward as, at the moment, they do not appear to have one they can trust. They are in a pretty tough spot right now, dead-last in the NBA with no immediate hopes of a comeback, unless something changes quickly.
Unfortunately, this young core has been a huge mess so far. They can’t seem to score, they can’t seem to hold their own on defense and one would easily find them near the bottom in almost every statistical category.
Karl-Anthony Towns has barely played this year, which hasn’t helped turn the team around. D’Angelo Russell definitely cannot push this team forward by himself and is far from his All-Star self that we saw in Brooklyn.

Russell and Randle have previously played together for two seasons while on the Lakers and the results were quite positive. Now in their basketball primes, one can only expect more from these two, should they team up in the future.
Leon Rose should look really closely into this Minnesota situation, as it is one that could benefit this team a lot. From future valuable draft picks, to young and extremely talented wing players, it seems like a trade is meant to happen between these sides.
A player that would fit Thibodeau’s schematic perfectly is Malik Beasley. Now in his fifth year as a pro, Malik is averaging 20.1 points per game on some very efficient shooting numbers. He is exactly the kind of guy you want alongside RJ Barrett, moving into the future.
