50 greatest NBA players from the 1990s — 36. Brad Daugherty

The Cleveland Cavaliers had selected North Carolina center Brad Daugherty with the first overall pick in the 1986 NBA Draft and he entered the 1990s as a key cog for a contending squad.

A three-time All-Star in the decade, Daugherty was also an All-NBA pick in 1991-92. He was fourth in the NBA in field-goal percentage in 1991-92 and second in 1992-93.

Betrayed by a bad back, Daugherty missed 32 games in 1993-94 and sat out all of the next two seasons before retiring in June 1996.

In the 1990s, Daugherty averaged 19.9 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 37.2 minutes per game, shooting .535/1-for-9/.766.

He was 18th in the NBA for the decade with an average of 19.9 points per game and 10th with an average of 10.3 rebounds per game and a .535 field-goal percentage.

His .532 field-goal percentage is 33rd-best in NBA history and his average of 36.5 minutes per game is 34th.
