The Golden State Warriors are no longer the center of the league’s attention anymore but that has not stopped them from getting on a roll and from cropping up in recent trade rumors. The offense is firing up and Andrew Wiggins paired with Draymond Green brings a defensive effort that is more disruptive than expected.

Wiggins has been a punching bag for NBA Twitter over the years but he has been one of the best wings at contesting shots while being the second most effective offensive weapon on the team. This week, he averaged a solid 19.5 points per game and hit 40.0 percent of his 3-point attempts. It is easy to ignore his impact on a winning team but at this point doing so is at your own risk.

The trade rumors are tantalizing to say the least. Some of the Trade Machine masters have built up the idea that the Warriors could get in the game for Bradley Beal but that feels like the kind of long shot we can ignore for now. Bringing in Lonzo Ball, on the other hand, is a fascinating fit that could help transform the Warriors into an even more dynamic offense. Watching the types of passes he would throw to James Wiseman in transition and to an open Steph Curry would be brilliant.
