23. team. 170. . 6-9. Previous: 19th. Charlotte Hornets

Last Week: 1/20 vs. Washington Wizards (POSTPONED), Lost to Chicago Bulls 123-110

This Week: 1/24 at Orlando Magic, 1/25 at Orlando Magic, 1/27 vs. Indiana Pacers, 1/29 vs. Indiana Pacers, 1/30 vs. Milwaukee Bucks

It was a one-game week for the Charlotte Hornets. Unfortunately for them, it may have been the worst game of the season for LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier. Gordon Hayward and Devonte’ Graham were good but that was not enough to overcome the Chicago Bulls.

The Hornets are one of the more inconsistent teams in the league. On some nights the young guys are clicking and Hayward looks like an All-Star. Rozier is a perfect complementary offensive option, Graham is hitting from the outside and Ball does a little bit of everything. On the off nights, the inconsistencies of youth take away from the bounce-back season of Hayward.

So to be positive, let’s talk about the beautiful court they played on last night. Everything about the Charlotte Hornets City Edition brings the franchise a step higher than it should be based on the talent on the floor. Mint is an underexplored color but looks great on the jerseys and the court. This team historically has been one of the best dressed in the league and this is no different.

It would be better to talk about the basketball product but with only one game this week and it not being particularly close that is tough to do. With five games next week, check back then for more Hornets coverage.
