41. . 8-8. Previous: 14th. Golden State Warriors. 8. team

Last Week: Beat Los Angeles Lakers 115-113, Beat San Antonio Spurs 121-99, Lost to New York Knicks 119-104, Lost to Utah Jazz 127-108

This Week: 1/25 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 1/27 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 1/28 at Phoenix Suns, 1/30 vs. Detroit Pistons

The Golden State Warriors are better than their record indicates. This is not just about the game that was essentially derailed by a rookie official turning the entire tide of a game by ejecting Draymond Green for yelling at his own teammate in a teaching moment.

The win against the Lakers shows just how good the Warriors can be on their best night. The week continued and Steph Curry is continuing to thrive. James Wiseman is stringing together impressive lines and looks like he should have been the number one overall pick. He will get additional chances to prove that to start the new week as the Warriors host the Timberwolves in back to back games.

Losing to the Utah Jazz in a blowout to end the week sucks but that loss came against the hottest team in the league so that can be forgiven. Stephen Curry passing Reggie Miller on the all-time 3-pointers list during the game makes up for it to an extent. He is a legendary player and the more accolades he piles up will only further hammer that home.

The Warriors play together with a palpable joy. It is causing the role players to maximize their potential more often than not. Eric Paschal is becoming a problem off the bench. Damion Lee is an increasingly effective shooter. If Kelly Oubre Jr. can ever be consistent, all the better.
