This Week: 1/24 at San Antonio Spurs, 1/26 at Houston Rockets, 1/27 at New Orleans Pelicans, 1/29 vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Washington Wizards have not played in nearly two weeks. After getting off to one of the most disappointing starts to the season, the rest of the league has mostly continued but the Wizards have been completely sidetracked by the pandemic.

The last time the Wizards played, they beat the Phoenix Suns and that was the only thing that prevented them from sliding last week. No such luck this week as there have been nothing positive. They were almost brought back to the court on Friday but Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook were publicly critical of the move since they had only had a single practice in weeks.

Of note, Washington has added a big man to the team. After losing Thomas Bryant for the year just before their hiatus, the Wizards were left quite thin down low. Enter Alex Len, the recently released Toronto Raptor.

Len reportedly had several suitors looking to add him but he chose to come to Washington. He has only appeared in seven games so far this season but has carved out a niche in the league as a serviceable backup. Maybe by the time next week is over he will be one of the many Wizards finally back on the court.
