NBA top trade targets still available – George Hill, OKC Thunder

George Hill has bounced around from team to team throughout the past several seasons, and he could be on the move once more with the trade deadline approaching. Currently having his best season since 2016-17, Hill has been averaging 11.4 points and 3.5 assists per game for the OKC Thunder, and teams scouring the market for a secondary floor general will give him a look.

As long as draft capital is involved, OKC general manager Sam Presti would likely oblige. The team spent the offseason trading away a significant portion of their roster to stock up on future assets, and Hill will likely find himself with the same fate. The veteran is on the books for approximately $10 million this season and would be affordable for teams willing to cough up the necessary draft assets.

NBA top trade targets still available – Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

Aaron Gordon has been in the rumor mill for some time now, and it appears that the Orlando Magic were persistently trying to move him this past offseason. The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor reported that the Magic were trying to package Gordon and their 15th pick to move into the NBA Draft lottery but were ultimately unsuccessful in doing so. If the Magic are still willing to listen to potential offers, several teams could potentially have an interest in Gordon.

Making $18 million this season, his salary is not the easiest to take on, but it is still a feasible option for teams looking for reinforcements in the frontcourt. Gordon is currently playing his fewest minutes since the 2015-16 season and could use a fresh start elsewhere to reinvent himself after a pair of down years in Orlando. The Minnesota Timberwolves seem like an ideal destination, given their issues at the power forward position, but time will tell if the forward could garner any interest on the market.
