1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

What, you thought it was going to be Thanasis Antetokounmpo instead? There can never be any doubt that as long as Giannis Antetokounmpo is around, he will reign supreme in Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo has set an impossible standard for himself. He’s having a hard time living up to his recent numbers this season, averaging just 26.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. You know you’re an otherworldly player when that can be considered a down year.

Despite the slight downtick in his numbers, Antetokounmpo’s name is still strewn across various leaderboards in the NBA. He leads the league in two-point field goals made this season at 98. He also leads the way with 120 free throw attempts. He also ranks 14th in the league in win shares, though he finished in the top ten in that category in each of the past four years.

All eyes, as always, are on how Antetokounmpo is shooting from three. He’s showing small signs of progress in that area. He’s averaging 4.9 3-point attempts per game, which is a new career-high. He’s only hitting 30.5 percent of those attempts, but it’s still encouraging to see him trying to add that to his arsenal.

A Giannis Antetokounmpo with a decent 3-point shot? The rest of the NBA trembles at the thought of the Milwaukee Bucks’ superstar becoming even better.
