4. Donte DiVincenzo

This is the first year Donte DiVincenzo is a full-time starter for the Bucks. While he is the new man in the lineup and far and away the young man in the lineup, he hasn’t appeared daunted by the challenge yet.

DiVincenzo is finding ways to contribute in all assets of the game. The shooting guard is averaging 10.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He’s also hitting 44.4 percent of his threes and is second on the team with 2.2 3-pointers made per game.

DiVincenzo is holding his own on the defensive end too. His 1.5 steals per game rank 19th in the NBA and his 2.7 steal percentage ranks sixth. He appears to have the makings of an elite ball swiper.

A game that showcases DiVincenzo’s all-around talent came on January 4. The guard’s shot wasn’t falling, as he hit just 2-of-9 shots and 1-of-6 from three, scoring five points against the Detroit Pistons. But he put his head down and found other ways to contribute, dishing a career-high nine assists, grabbing nine rebounds, swiping two steals, and even recording a rare block; the Bucks beat the Pistons by 10. Early in his development, DiVincenzo is showing he has the ability to stick around for years to come.
