. 3-9. Previous: 29th. Detroit Pistons. 30. team. 64

Last Week: Lost to Utah Jazz 96-86, Lost to Milwaukee Bucks 110-101, 1/15 vs. Washington Wizards (POSTPONED), Beat Miami Heat 120-100

This Week: 1/18 at Miami Heat, 1/20 at Atlanta Hawks, 1/22 vs. Houston Rockets, 1/23 vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The Detroit Pistons finally land in the bottom spot on the power rankings but they still found a way to end the week with a win against a playoff team again. Two weeks ago they knocked off the Boston Celtics. Last week it was the red-hot Phoenix Suns who fell victim to the upstart Pistons. Now the Miami Heat are the newest victim.

Even if the Pistons are the worst team in the league, they are not an easy out. Jerami Grant is still on the same streak from last week of 20 plus points per game and is making a case for Most Improved Player and All-Star consideration. Even if the record is terrible, he has been that good.

Isaiah Stewart is a ball of energy and already one of the most effective offensive rebounders in the league. He is also a pest and has earned himself some famous enemies such as the reigning two-time MVP. He is the exact kind of guy the Pistons faithful will love.

Derrick Rose looked great in the final game of the week and is exactly what the Detroit Pistons need as they struggle to keep playmakers in the lineup. If the Pistons can keep competing every night, winning one out of every four games and the young guys stay solid, fans will have to be happy.
