After many injuries held him back from the All-Star player that he once was, free-agent guard Isaiah Thomas is ready to rejoin an NBA roster.
It’s been a long journey for Thomas to recover from surgeries that involved repairing his hip and shooting thumb. Now that he has successfully overcome those setbacks and has finally been cleared to return to the court, he’s expressed his eagerness to make a comeback to the league.
NBA teams may still be skeptical about Isaiah’s health, but they should know what he brings to the table in terms of talent, experience and value on and off the court. It’s impossible to forget how dynamic of a scorer he was while thriving in Boston as a two-time All-Star and MVP candidate. He deserves a chance to be back in the NBA.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, a return for Isaiah Thomas is not that far out of reach.

At 31 years old, Thomas could be very close to an NBA return as he continues to communicate with potential parties. However, we don’t know exactly what teams are interested in his services at this time.
The Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers are teams that could emerge as logical destinations, but the Orlando Magic would make the most sense given their current circumstances.
