By Corey Rausch

This Week: 1/10 vs. Miami Heat, 1/12 at Chicago Bulls, 1/13 vs. Orlando Magic, 1/15 vs. Orlando Magic
No matter who has been in and out of the lineup, the Boston Celtics just kept winning this week. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have taken turns being the leading scorer but both have been dominant in their own right and have made it so that the Celtics can weather the storm while the rest of the team gets healthy.
The numbers are staggering. Tatum is averaging 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He is shooting 43.8 percent from 3-point range on a career-high attempts 8.0 a game. Brown is not far behind, posting a line of 26.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. They should both be All-Stars this season.
All of Boston’s reserve big men were missing on Friday which saw Tacko Fall get his first meaningful minutes in an NBA game. He had eight rebounds and three blocks and made his presence known. Payton Pritchard has been a steal for this team and fits their mentality perfectly.
They have a mostly easy week ahead and should be able to rack up a few more wins to continue to climb the standings. Once the Celtics get everyone back (Kemba Walker has been cleared to practice) they will be able to beat anybody. Now they just have to weather the 10-14 day quarantine of Tatum.
