team. 66. . 7-3. Previous: 3rd. Phoenix Suns. 5

Last Week: Lost to LA Clippers 112-107, Beat Toronto Raptors 123-115, Lost/OT to Detroit Pistons 110-105, Beat Indiana Pacers 125-117

This Week: 1/11 at Washington Wizards, 1/13 vs. Atlanta Hawks, 1/15 vs. Golden State Warriors, 1/16 vs. Indiana Pacers

The Phoenix Suns had an imperfect week but still find themselves pretty high on the list. They nearly came back from a 31-point deficit against the LA Clippers but dropped the game. They bounced back against the Toronto Raptors, which at this point is not the toughest thing to do.

The loss against the Detroit Pistons is utterly confusing. At one point, they lead the Pistons by 23 points but were outscored in every quarter but the first. Langston Galloway was the most effective offensive player which says all you need to know.

The bounce-back against the Indiana Pacers was real and for a team that went to overtime the night before a back to back is impressive. Mikal Bridges was lights out (12-of-18 from the field), leading six Suns in double figures with a career-high 34 points.

There really has to be a question about what is going on with Deandre Ayton. He is currently only averaged 13.4 points and 11.4 rebounds a game and has seen his touches decrease. He needs to get on the same page with his teammates for the Suns to reach their full potential. Ayton is still shooting well (career-high 61.2 percent from the field) so feeding him more often should not be an issue.
