118. . 5-4. Previous: 12th. Utah Jazz. 12. team

Last Week: Beat San Antonio Spurs 130-109, Lost to Brooklyn Nets 130-96, Lost to New York Knicks 112-100, Beat Milwaukee Bucks 131-118

This Week: 1/10 at Detroit Pistons, 1/12 at Cleveland Cavaliers, 1/13 at Washington Wizards, 1/15 vs. Atlanta Hawks

Nothing stops a precipitous slide down the rankings like a double-digit victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Utah Jazz have struggled most with consistently getting their offensive weapons on the same page. On Friday, they did just that and it was a perfect example of what they could be.

Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic were finally efficient in the same game which led to a dynamic offensive force. Jordan Clarkson added even more off the bench than he had in recent games. Mike Conley had one of his quieter games of the season but is still having a much better season this year.

This is the recipe for success for this Jazz team. It was the same in the San Antonio win and something they lacked in the losses. Rudy Gobert currently seems accepting of a lesser role on offense now that he has locked down the contract extension and the team is healthy. He is fifth in field goal attempts per game and seems to just be happy doing his job as long as the wings are doing theirs.

The game plan is there. The Jazz know how to win and have proven that no team is too great for them to overcome as long as they execute that plan. Getting execution down to a more exact science is the new goal.
