The Milwaukee Bucks roster is still incomplete

The Milwaukee Bucks have won their last three games. Still, their record sits at an unremarkable 5-3. Some fans may be ready to hit the panic button and go searching for a roster change. Whenever dividends of off-season moves aren’t seen right away, inevitably doubt will start to seep in.

However, making a change to this Bucks team would premature. Although not earth-shattering, three consecutive wins is a very good sign. What this team really needs is time to gel. Mike Budenholzer is a two-time coach of the year. Most fan bases are green with envy when they look at the building blocks Milwaukee has in place.

More from Milwaukee Bucks

With a point guard who can not only score, but also defend at an elite level, the team has a hot commodity in Jrue Holiday. Khris Middleton is a reliable second scoring option with a team-first attitude that’s contagious throughout the locker room. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the two-time defending league MVP who just inked a deal showing his long-term commitment to the franchise and the city. The Brooklyn Nets have not looked as impressive as pundits predicted they would at this point in the young season. The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a hot start but it remains to be seen if their young stars have matured enough to keep it up for an entire season. When Russell Westbrook joined Bradley Beal on the Washington Wizards, fans were optimistic the team would return to the playoffs.

So far, that does not look like a reality.

The fact is, the Bucks can make it to the Finals as currently constructed. They have the personnel to do it and they’re led by one of the best coaches in the league. Fans in Milwaukee might assume they’re team isn’t ready. Fortunately for them, that assumption would be wrong.
