2. Kelly Oubre Jr.

Kelly Oubre Jr.‘s performance on the Golden State Warriors so far has been the center of much concern. Oubre is a recent offseason acquirement from the Phoenix Suns. He is currently on his second year of a hefty $30 million contract that increases the Warriors’ tax bill from $66 million to $134 million. With that being said, Oubre has a lot of work to do in order to live up to what he’s being paid the big bucks for.

Not including Monday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings, Kelly averaged merely 9.7 points while shooting a horrific 32 percent from the field and 6.7 percent from three. On the bright side, Kelly has been leading the team with 1.7 steals per game and has been great on the glass, averaging 6.2 rebounds per game. He has also been efficient on his dunk attempts. However, making only two out of 30 threes is unacceptable and cannot go on if he wants to continue being a starter on the Warriors.

Oubre found his first bit of redemption on Monday night. He scored a total of 18 points – his highest so far – and made four out of six threes and shot six of 13 overall. Kelly Oubre’s consistency with shooting will be the most important key to his game, and there’s definitely hope as we saw from his last game and also from previous seasons as he shot 35.2 percent from three last season.
